Kendallville Mall's Luv My Hometown Photo Contest Official Rules

Kendallville Mall and KendallvilleTV are giving away an Apple iPad® to one Grand Prize Winner in the 2012 LuV My Hometown Photo Contest. The grand prize prize package is valued at $500.

Beginning Dec. 16, 2011, kendallvillemall.com will take submissions for the Luv My Hometown Photo Contest by the 15th of each month, for that month's contest.  People may email photos of local events and places in Noble County, with caption, and name, address, phone number, to service@kendallvillemall.com, one per month.

Up to 6 photos will be chosen each month by judges, based on the submissions received, and be eligible for a monthly prize of $50.  Voters will vote by emails at kendallvillemall.com; One email vote per day, per person. You may also vote on our Facebook page, Kendallville Mall-NooZ, by "Liking" the Photo. The photo with the most email votes from the 17th of each month to noon on the 24th of the month, will win that month's prize. 

In December 2012, all monthly Photo Contest Winners will go into a hat and one Person's name will be drawn to will win the Apple iPad®.  A person may only win once in the monthly contests, in 2012. Amateur photographers only are ineligible. Must be Noble County resident to be eligible to enter the contest. Must be at least 14 years old. Must be at least 14 years old; include name of parents if younger than 18 years old.

To participate, you and your immediate family members cannot be employed by Scher Maihem Publishing Ltd., or any affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors, or promotional partners. Winners consent to allow Scher Maihem Publishing to use their name, voice or likeness in promotional announcements, through methods of marketing and agree to no further compensation.

All photos entered into the contest become the property of Scher Maihem Publishing Ltd; photographer gives up any rights to the photo by entering the contest. Winners waive any and all claims of liability against Scher Maihem Publishing Ltd., and all respective employees and agents for any personal injury or loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the use of any prize. Prizes are non-transferable. Winner understands that they may have tax obligations resulting from receipt of the prize.  If the winner cannot accept the prize as offered or fails to meet eligibility requirements, the winner shall forfeit the prize and the prize becomes the property of Scher Maihem Publishing Ltd.

Participants agree to the above rules as well as any additional rules which may be implemented. All SMPL general contest rules apply.  Rules are subject to change and can change without prior notification. No purchase necessary. Decisions of the judges overseeing the contest are final.
