July 2—3rd annual golf classic to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Noble County is Wednesday July 2, Cobblestone Golf Course, Kendallville. Call Lindsey Helmer for more information, 435-9022.
Fire Dept. benefit golf outing
July 3—Avilla Fire Department hosts a benefit golf outing for Tiffanie Knox-Harris on Thursday at 2 p.m., at Noble Hawk Golf Course, Kendallville. Cost is $65 in advance or $70 day of event, per person. Benefits include golf, cart, dinner, band, fireworks and door prizes from Noble Hawk. Other events are picture with a fire truck and fire prevention trailer. Dinner, band and fireworks tickets are $20 per person, without golf.
